After spending 30 years in the Consumer Banking Domain across three large International Banks, and working in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, I have had the opportunity to witness the spectrum of challenges and solutions in Consumer Banking as an avid on-the-ground practitioner in all areas of Consumer Banking ranging from Operations, Risk Management, Product Management, Data Sciences, Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales & Distribution, Business Management, Strategy and more. And there has never been a moment when I have not felt the lack of independence to deliver a change that I was so convinced about but still couldn’t make. I embarked on huVabuva precisely to help organizations and individuals unearth hidden value and realize their potential even more.
Our focus is not limited to Banking but straddles across the Retail industry. And the value here spans across Financial and Non-Financial value. Our objective is for our Clients to tangibly see that value being realized. If they don’t, we would give their money back as we don’t deserve to receive any value when our Clients haven’t. While our Principles and Values are sacrosanct to us, our operating model is very flexible and is meant to suit our Clients. While we would love to work with all Clients, it is important that our “Values” are in sync to enable the outcomes we desire, in the method we desire. This would be our principal ask of our Clients always. Sanjeeb is an industry expert with over 40 years in FMCG, Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, Payments/ Fintech/NextGen Financial Services and Big Data Evangelist/ Technology and Digital Transformation Consultant/ Education. He is a Board member and Advisor to global organizations in the UK, Europe, the US, Middle East and Asia.
Sanjeeb was CEO of Retail and Commercial Banking for Citigroup in EMEA. He was one of the key seniors working with UK/US regulators navigating the Global Financial Crisis in 2008. He has helped launch and develop new consumer, commercial and Fintech businesses across Asia and EMEA. He was Global Head of Citigroup’s Citigold program. Sanjeeb has been Regional Business Head for South Asia and Group Head of Brand and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Standard Chartered Bank. He was a pioneer in setting up the cards payment systems and network across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He is a Global Advisor to global technology companies and Venture Capital Funds.
Sanjeeb is currently Chairman of IDFC First Bank, one of India’s fastest growing banks powered by cutting edge technology.
Peter is the lead consultant at Point Capital (K), a business consulting company he founded in 2018, that Specializes in Strategy Development, Organizational Transformation and Performance Management.
Peter has an International banking career with Standard Chartered Bank spanning over 17 years, where , among other roles, he held the position of Head of Sales & Performance Management for All Africa, Middle East, and Pakistan businesses. This role mandate was Prioritization and management oversight of Investments delivery in the MEPA region working with Group Offices based in Singapore, Impacting 20 countries with Operating Profit of over USD 1Bn.
Peter has held other senior roles internationally in the bank including head of product development and strategy at the Retail Banking division of Standard Chartered Bank in Tanzania. As the Head of Business Intelligence at Standard Chartered Bank Kenya, Peter developed Performance Management Structures that included Balanced Scorecards and Variable compensation mechanisms.
Jonathan has over 25 years of experience as a global senior leader in the Sales, Coaching, Retail and Banking sectors. He worked for 15 years at HSBC, living in seven countries: the USA, UK, Hong Kong, India, Qatar, Lebanon and Israel. His last role at HSBC was as Global Head of the Branch Network, responsible for 3,400 branches worldwide servicing 37 million customers and with 21 billion dollars in revenue. Immediately prior, as Global Head of Wealth Sales & Distribution he oversaw customer satisfaction targets of 94% and balances of 620 billion.
He was also tasked to build a culture of coaching moving beyond programming to organizational ethos. His work has the unique distinctive of combining tailor-made strategy with the ability to embed that strategy as part of the company DNA.
As a sought-after coach, Jonathan has trained thousands of leaders in over 18 countries, focusing on Leadership, Coaching, Sales Management, and Sales Skills. He is a skillful public speaker and facilitator of learning programs and team building experiences.
Kunal has over 22 years of experience in identifying & implementing innovative technology solutions that optimize business processes while adding new revenue streams to improve profitability.
He has the proven ability to identify business opportunity based on emerging digital technology and drive tangible business outcomes from that opportunity.
Kunal is a born Entrepreneur having founded E-Phoria Technologies – a digital solutions provider – at the young age of 14 years to help SMEs identify technology needs; plan & define project milestones; implement & execute milestones.
Has delivered Business transformation enabling technology experience with a Fortune 500 Healthcare Company – part of the IT team than enabled the reengineering of several key business processes.
Amarpreet Singh is a seasoned Fintech founder with over 17 years of extensive experience in implementing transformative solutions and radically changing conventional norms across the financial services industry. His journey has been marked by innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
As the founder of UpCapita, a pioneering startup based in the Dubai International Financial Centre, he has been instrumental in driving digital innovation within the UAE’s vibrant financial landscape. His strategic foresight has led to the successful launch of UpCapita’s multi-platform technology, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
During his substantial tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, Amarpreet was the Head of Distribution Strategy for Retail Banking in the UAE, where he played an influential role in navigating the company through essential milestones and overcoming formidable challenges.
